Remember and Honor

Memorial Day honors all U.S. military personnel who died while serving. It is traditional for people to visit the graves of those who paid the ultimate price, in remembrance of their sacrifice and valor.

President Ronald Reagan said, “We owe this freedom of choice and action to those men and women in uniform who have served this nation and its interests in time of need. In particular, we are forever indebted to those who have given their lives that we might be free.”

We often take the freedom we have for granted, and do not realize that everyone in the world does not enjoy the same measure of it as we do. We are the land of the free, because of the brave.

John 15:13 Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.
