A native of Frostproof, Florida, I grew up on a citrus and cattle farm in the rural community of Bereah. Emilee is my wife. She is a teacher at Hurricane High School and is the Special Education Department Director. We are blessed with three children. Nathan is a sophomore at The University of Alabama. Sophia is a senior and Grace a sophomore at Winfield High School. I prefer to be called Seth, Pastor Seth, or Dad, depending on who is calling me! I enjoy spending time with my family, sports, most things related to the outdoors, and the quieter and more remote the better.
I came to know Jesus as a child, and later answered the call of ministry at First Baptist Church of Frostproof, Florida. I believe strongly in the shepherding model of pastoral ministry (1 Peter 5:1-6). I am a pastor with the heart of a missionary who is passionate about proclaiming the glory of God and sharing the good news about Jesus down the street and around the world. I’ve been blessed to serve on mission extensively both in the United States and internationally. I believe the Bible is the Word of God, and is sufficient for everything pertaining to life and godliness.
