Seth Nathan Polk, DMin, PhD

A native of Florida, I grew up on a citrus and cattle farm in the rural community of Bereah. I came to know Jesus Christ and was baptized in believer’s baptism at the age of seven. I later answered the call to ministry at First Baptist Church of Frostproof, Florida.

The Bible is God’s Word and sufficient for everything pertaining to life and godliness. I am grateful for and dependent on the grace and mercy of God. Having served more than twenty-five years as a pastor, I believe more strongly in prayer and ministry of the Word (Acts 6:4) and the shepherding model of ministry (1 Peter 5:1-6) than ever before.

I am passionate about proclaiming the glory of God and sharing the good news about Jesus down the street and around the world. Kingdom multiplication through disciple-making and church planting is essential to the mission of God. I have been blessed to serve on mission extensively, both in the United States and internationally.

My wife is Emilee, and we have three adult children. Emilee is a Special Education Department Director and High School Teacher and also teaches at the university level in teacher education. Our son is an Investment Analyst and serves as the Executive Pastor on a Church Planting Team. Our oldest daughter is a High School Teacher, and our youngest daughter is a senior in college pursuing Elementary Education. We have an unofficially adopted adult daughter who came into our lives by the grace of God as a young teenager. She lives in Moldova in Eastern Europe with her husband and family.
